Mary Kathryn, and her husband Nathan, are the proud parents of an adorable daughter, a precious son, and 3 energetic dogs. She enjoys spending time on the lake, all things Disney, and cheering on the Tennessee Vols. Go Big Orange!
Biography
Mary Kathryn Oliver, a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, is delighted to be back in Sumner County where both she and her husband were born and raised. After graduating from the University of Tennessee with a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing she worked as a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Nurse at the University of Tennessee Medical Center. Her passion for caring for children continued to grow as she obtained her Master’s of Science in Nursing with a Pediatric Concentration to become a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner.
In 2011, Mary Kathryn and her husband were given the opportunity to move back to Nashville closer to family. During her career as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner she has precepted graduate students from Vanderbilt, Belmont, Union University, and the University of Tennessee. She loves the ability to teach and strives to give back to the future of nursing through teaching, mentoring, and precepting.
Mary Kathryn is an active member in the community as she serves on the United Way of Sumner County Board, the Recovery Court of Sumner County Foundation Board, the Leadership Sumner Board, Alpha Omicron Pi Alumni Advisory Committee, and an active member at Ethos Church.
