Well Child Care

From birth through young adulthood, we provide routine care including evaluation of physical, emotional and developmental health, as well as immunizations.

Sick Visits

When your child is sick, you do everything you can to speed their recovery. This is also our priority. As your trusted source of pediatric care, we want to get you in, identify and treat the sickness, and provide the best path toward health. We know there are a maze of options. Our goal is to maintain the care of each and every patient entrusted to us. Because we know our patients, we are able to more accurately and efficiently treat them when they’re sick.

If you need help determining if your child should come in for a visit, please use our interactive Symptom Checker tool.

Sports and Camp Physicals

Sports and camp physicals  are usually incorporated into a more comprehensive well child visit. If you need it at another time, we are happy to offer sports and camp physicals year-round.

For your convenience, please fill out and bring appropriate camp and sports physical forms for us to complete at the visit. Below are links to two frequently used forms.

Prescription Management

One of the many benefits of establishing a primary care pediatrician is safe and consistent prescription management for your child. Whether for routine care or due to an illness, it’s essential that all prescriptions and supplements are disclosed to avoid potentially dangerous drug interactions. We also keep a close watch on any allergies your child may have and consider this with every prescription.

● Asthma
● Allergies
● Constipation
● Anxiety
● Acne

● Headaches
● Depression
● Eczema
● Autism

Depending on your insurance, you may need a referral for your child to see any specialist. Although there are exceptions, most of the time an office visit is required prior to our providing a referral. Please call our nurse line if you have a question regarding a referral.

Nurse Assitance

If you have a question and it’s during office hours, please call our nurse care line. If no one is available, please leave a detailed message and we will return your call as soon as possible.

After Hours Care

Being small, we have to be innovative about our care after hours to be our best for you during the day. You have multiple options for after hours care. If it truly is an emergency, call 911 or go to the Emergency Room. Most after hours care, however, can be handled one of the following ways.

When our office is closed, your child’s pediatric provider at Compass Pediatrics can be accessed from the convenience of your home via telemedicine provided by Anytime Pediatrics. Click here to learn more!
